To clarify what happens with your information on this website this policy has been compiled. I personally consider transparency as quite important, therefore I’ve abundantly compiled this document to give you full insight what happens.
Don’t get scared of the texts as it is a legal document, because to help those who have no legal experience I wrote a clear summary of the contents below. I’ve also tried to keep the legal parts clear and understanding.

- I shall honour any request for deletion, insight or modification of personal data related to this website. You can use the contact form to request such a thing.
Which information do I collect?
Whenever comment on my blog, or contact me through the contact page the e-mail address is stored. Not a lot of people are aware of what kind of personal data an e-mail contains. So let me make you aware. Besides the obvious, the e-mail address, the IP address from which it is sent is also attached. If sent from your PC and not through either a website or web services this means it is your home IP address. It also often exposes which e-mail client you use or other aspects which you might had defined in the settings such as the organisation or the sender’s, in this case, your name. Please note that these personal data only comes with sending a direct e-mail, not upon contacting form submission. The e-mail address is solely used to give me or the website the ability to contact you in regards to the content which belongs to the e-mail address.
Your IP adress is only used for security related features. As long as you have a comment on the website, you’re IP address remains registered. The security system also logs your IP address for a set amount of time of around one day. In case our system sees you as malicious visitor, your IP address is stored for a year.
Your Browser and it’s version is only stored in combination with your IP address, thus also only whenever your IP address is stored. This is for your security to confirm that not a third party is hijacking your session on my website.
Upon contacting me or whenever you comment, the name used is stored. This is merely to give me the ability to address and/or identify you. Or in the case of commenting, to give others this ability.
How do I store your information?
Some information is stored in so called cookies. These are tiny files on your computer solely containing data. Due to the security surrounding cookies, only you or this website has access to these cookies.
Comments and e-mails are stored in two separate databases. Databases which I personally ensured are only accessible to me by surrounding the database with highly secured protection layers.
For what do I use your information?
